This seminar will mainly focus on developing leadership skills and fostering better communication between individuals and marginalized groups. It will examine the development and implementation of mentorship programs, how change in leadership approaches can help support marginalized communities (primarily women and non-Japanese in Japan), and how intersectionality impacts career mobility and opportunities. I encourage my seminar students to research areas related to these themes so I can offer guided support and resources. This seminar will focus mainly on qualitative research methods, such as case studies through a narrative approach. This seminar and graduation thesis will be conducted in English.
